The essential Lincoln outside-of-the White House story.
- 60 US dollars$60
- Tour begins at the Jackson Statue in the middle of Lafayette
Service Description
The essential Lincoln outside-of-the White House story tour. Within a few blocks from his residence, Lincoln would confront generals to goad them to action and reassure worried colleagues. Here was the house where he tearfully honored a wounded naval hero who had won a historic victory that was thought impossible. There are about 35 sites within a three block radius of the White House and includes Lafayette Square. This is a three hour walk with 15 minutes for a rest break. Tour begins at the Jackson statue in the middle of the park, and ends at 14th Street near the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church.
